heart of compassion malas

I make authentic Buddhist malas, using semi-precious stones and special woods and seeds. Malas are strings of prayer beads used with a mantra, held, or worn gently as a way of praying, focusing, and staying mindful. Traditionally malas are used by Buddhists, Yogis, and Hindus. But these days more and more people from all lifestyles enjoy them.
Buddha for sale—on the way to my local coffee shop I often pass by a furniture store with carved wooden Buddhas out front. Yesterday the light hitting the Buddha’s face combined with the yellow “sale” signs moved me. The Buddhas have wisdom that knows and compassion that cares. And if one of them decides to move into your house, that’s a considerable blessing.
